What do you need to get a mortgage?
- To be over 18
- To have income from employment (use the form of income confirmation), self-employment or any other suitable income
- The real property is located in ČR and is insured against natural disaster and other risks
- A lien has been established on the real property purchased, or another property, in favour of ČSOB
- If you apply together with other co-applicants (e.g. to achieve higher income) at least one of them must be the owner of the property mortgaged. Married couples, parents and children, relatives, co-habitants and even people with no family relationship may apply together; however, they may be no more than 4 applicants from 2 households.
What does it take to arrange a mortgage?
- Organise a meeting at your closest branch
- During the first meeting, we will prepare a non-binding, tailor-made offer and compute your interest rate – the amount will be guaranteed for 30 days
- We will give you a list of documentsnecessary to file the application in order to document your sufficient income, property security and supporting materials associated with the specific purpose of the loan
- We will arrange for you:
- An extract from the Land Register
- Property price estimate
- Insurance
- As soon as we have received all the documents from you and the price estimate, we will compile a formal mortgage application together; this will be the basis for an assessment of your income and property and we will prepare the mortgage proposal.
- When you have signed the contract you can start drawing your mortgage as needed – the full amount at once, or gradually if you are building. You can have your money within 2 days from signing the contract.
